Leather Hobo Bag Size Guide
Bag measurements become useful when you connect them to the objects you carry and the way you prefer a bag to sit on your shoulder.
Start with usable width
Width tells you whether longer objects can sit naturally inside, but the widest exterior point is not always the usable interior width. A soft bag curves and folds when carried. Compare the dimensions of your notebook, tablet or laptop with the opening and base rather than relying on the headline width alone.
Height and depth shape capacity
Height makes room for upright objects such as a water bottle or compact umbrella. Depth determines how comfortably thicker items can sit together. More depth adds capacity, but it can also make a bag project farther from the body. A softly structured hobo uses its depth flexibly and settles closer as the contents shift.
Check the strap drop
Strap drop is the vertical distance between the top of the bag and the inside of the strap at its highest point. A longer drop generally leaves more room over a coat. The Soft Hobo has an approximately 7.9-inch handle drop and an adjustable shoulder strap measuring approximately 21.3–25.2 inches.
The Soft Hobo measurements
The Soft Hobo measures approximately 17.7 inches wide, 9.8 inches high and 3.9 inches deep, with a weight of approximately 1.32 pounds. Because the leather body is soft and measurements are taken by hand, allow a variation of approximately 0.4–0.8 inches.
